Job Description
WSCF Europe Publications and Office Intern
Location: Berlin, Germany
Hours: 35 Hours/week (Full-time)
Duration: 1 year from 23 August 2012 with the possibility of prolonging to 2 years
Salary: 900 EUR Netto

The Role:
The World Student Christian Federation—Europe seeks a suitable candidate for the position of Publication and Office Intern. The work of the Publications and Office Intern is coordinated and evaluated by the European Regional Committee under the supervision of the WSCF Europe Regional Secretary.

I. Mozaik – The Publications and Office Intern is the coordinator of and main responsible person for the production and publication of Mozaik.
II. Website, e-newsletter and social media
III. Event Reports
IV. ERC Minutes
V. Other Publications
VII. Office Administration

Minimum requirements:

  • Good knowledge and experience within the organisation World Student Christian Federation;
  • Fluency in English language as native English speaker;
  • Excellent writing and communications skills in English;
  • Knowledge of and interest in ecumenical issues and questions of inter-church and inter-faith relationships;
  • B.A. or equivalent;
  • Computer literacy, including word-processing, desktop publishing and social media;
  • Outstanding organizational skills;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Age 21-30;
  • Willingness to travel.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in journalism or writing/editing;
  • Active church involvement;
  • Website development skills.
